Genuine Seiko movements, hand-picked parts, and a build sheet for every watch we sell.
A mod is not a cheap copy — it's a custom assembly. We start with a genuine Seiko automatic movement, then choose the case, crystal, bezel insert, chapter ring, dial, hands, crown, and bracelet to build a watch with a specific look and feel.
Everything is assembled by hand under a loupe: dial feet trimmed and seated, hands pressed and checked for clearance, bezel and chapter ring aligned, gaskets greased, case back torqued, then the movement is regulated on a timing machine.
The result is a watch that wears like a proper tool watch, winds like a proper automatic, and can be serviced by any watchmaker — because the engine inside it is a workhorse Seiko caliber, not a disposable module.
“Buy the watch you actually want to wear. Not the badge.”
— The Mod Connect
The Mod Connect is an independent watch modification workshop. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Seiko Corporation, or any other watch manufacturer. Our watches are original custom builds using aftermarket components and genuine Seiko movements, and they carry no other maker's name or marks. Any model names used are descriptive of style only.
Every one hand-assembled, regulated, and ready to ship.
